ShoreLand Solutions has an immediate opening for multiple positions of Engineer/Scientist I, with emphasis on computer systems engineering.

The Engineer/Scientist 1 must have:

• Education- a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or Mathematics from an accredited College or University, or an acceptable alternate of an accredited degree in Computer Engineering.
• Experience: A minimum of one (1) year general engineering experience, with particular emphasis on computer systems preferably.

At ShoreLand Solutions, an Engineer I has the following general job functions:

• Assists in the development and maintenance of network communications.
• Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks.
• Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job; typically reports to a supervisor.
